The aim of this project is to identify and understand the relocation from Jurong Bird Park to Mandai as a part of a new 126ha eco-tourism hub in northern Singapore. It is to establish an understanding on how the new Mandai Park can achieve stustainability by considering and minimizing the impact of displacing fauna, restricting wildlife movements and clearing vegetation and habitats. Furthermore, this project will also adress the sustainable construction of the new Mandai Park as well as minimising the development footprint on the Central Catchment Natural Reserve (CCNR). In order to adress the issues, primary and secondary research is being used, weheras a survey has been conducted towards, locals aswell as tourists and JCU students.
